Guys, I'm about to get my "Green Card" and my wife and I are thinking of moving to Austin, TX, after all the research we've been doing. Any comments?, thanks in advance...

Well, in addition to what my friend has told me, I like the weather (little or no snow), the cost of living, hospitality, the cultural environment and it is a good place for Latinos like me to work.

it's so funny.i lived in texas my whole life,and never went to austin.now that i don't live there, it is the only place in texas i want to go to .

I've been there a few times... My sister lived by the river walk and it seemed like a nice place...

I liked Austin, just vacationed there for four days. Real good local music scene, college town feel,lots of good lookin women, plenty of water.

Felt like a small town grown big.
