need TURBO only fill up tank

Featured Replies

Hey. I live in Chehalis, WA.

I have a 91 Subaru Legacy Sport. The fill up tank cracked.

I called the dealership and they want like 150.00. Aarons auto didn't have one :(

Anyone have one of these??

the plastic coolant tank that goes on the top of the engine?

Yes thats correct. Its on the right side of the engine bolted on to the intake manifold.

A line then runs directly from the tank and into the turbo

I need on asap though, and if no one has it local I'm gonna use a WRX one and make it work (aarons has one)

You are best off making a metal WRX one work. This is a very common failure on these cars. But be careful, the metal tank will get very very hot. Be very careful where you put your fingers and wrists under the hood or your skin will go

The engine I just bought has a brass fitting JB welded into the back of it (Which the puller yanked out ), and the old motor still has the tank on it, so if you want another one, make me an offer :-) What's involved in making a WRX one work?

What's involved in making a WRX one work?

Just figuring out how to mount it where the plastic one went.
