I am going to start working on the brakes this week. I am curious if the old rear brakes off my 1987 GL wagon will work on the 1984 Brat. They look like thaty have the same bolt pattern on them. If they do, I can just swap them out, until I get the rear disk brakes. It will also save me money if I have to replace the shoes, because I have a set that doesn't have 8 to 10K on them. Thanks.

 

P.S.--I did a compression check last night, and all 4 cylinders stayed between 125 and 130 PSI.
