are the plastic panels in the truck of an RX sedan the same as any other 85-89 sedan? i know loyales have a different body shape.

The plastic panels in my trunk are half gone or missing, and i'd just like to get them replaced, but needed to know what cars i should look in at the scrap yard...

Any 85-94 EA82 4-door. The RX sedan has the exact same trunk as any of them.

It should say 4WD TURBO on the panel, the RXs had a same RX decal in the lower left corner. Yes, any of the panels will work, but if you can find a GL-10 4WD Turbo, you could get very close to want should be there.

a GL10 sedan's trunk might be a little different? because the seats fold down to allow trunk access.. may or may not affect the pieces you need.

OOPPPSSS, I see, it is the panels inside the trunk that you are lokking for, I thought you were talking about the plastic panel between the tail lights. :o

hehe, no that one is fine, says RX 4wd turbo too

 

inside the trunk is where the plastics over the fenderwells, and around the tail light sockets is all gone...

Gl 10 seats can be swapped into a sedan. remove the corrugated cardboard and swap mount for the flip-down seats

 

I was pondering XT rear seats into a sedan, the top part folds down the whole thing like a wagon, but one piece. What would have to be accomplished is the bottom swing down hinge, the mount could brobably be drilled out by tack welds(my speculation)

or maybe it bolts up to something similar to a sedan rear decklid, but in the xt.

the bottom part of xt seat is just like a sedan the way it mounts

 

when i parted the xt, it reminded me of a blend of 3-door and sedan, according to my ponderings of a fastback wagon ir a e-door brat. more so much than it had to do with new gen soobs
