Hello all.....just a quick question....I have a 1996 2.2 L Subaru Legacy.....I would just like to know if i can just take a fuel injector out of any other 2.2 L and it would work?

For the most part as long as they are the same type injector sidefeed or topfeed injector and all of the stamped part numbers are the same there should be no problem. They should look exactly the same. Make sure that the engine is the same as yours ie. turbo or N/A. I think they only made 3 sets of injectors for that engine. turbo, twin turbo and N/A (correct me if I am wrong).

Fairly sure all the 95 through 99 engines used the same injector but you can't go wrong by just comparing the number on the injector.
