was wondering if the volt regulator for 86 soob 1800 2 barrel was in the alternator or somewhere else? cant seem to find my chilton. thanks

honestly i dont kno whats going on. shut off on me going to work last week, found out batter cable broke. fixed that now coming home from work it shut off again and the battery is dead. so im figuring alternator or volt reg.. junk yard parts either way. lol
