The other places that wire branches and goes to are the ECU, TCU(if 4eat auto equipped), the Cruise control, and the Trip Computer(maybe Trip ODOMETER?, TO?in Canada?Or Aus?) fanga-dave Posted January 1, 2008 Author Share Posted January 1, 2008 hey mate cheers for the fast reply! it is out of an 88 turbo wagon, 5 speed 4wd. the engine is in a buggy so instrument panels etc aren't being used. i just had a squizz at my ecu pinout diagram and i found that pin #40 (ecs lamp output) also goes to I/P so i think you are right in saying instrument panel. does this mean i can remove these wires then?
