rear e brake

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried hooking up the ebrake on the rear of a sube that has disc brakes. I thought maybe the calipers from the front and rear could be the same, then all you would have to do is run the cable. Just an idea. I miss doing ebrake slides.

the calipers are different sizes. sorry.

a couple of people on the board were trying to adapt other cars' calipers to subaru rear disc setups. I think I remember hearing that a nissan or something had a caliper with similar bolt spacing.

It'll be a couple of years more before I'll have any time to play around with fabbing up an adapter plate or something. I liked school, but now that it's done, I have about a billion $$ worth of loans to pay off. :cornfuzz:

try fabbing up a legacy rear disc/drum to an xt6 backing plate.
