xt6_4_life Posted January 31, 2008 Share Posted January 31, 2008 is the a/c pump on a xt6 the same as a xt. mine just so happened to get dropped (long story) and busted it up internally. drove all last summer in the desert with no a/c. would really like to get one for this year. i know of a xt i can get a pump off of but i dont know if it will be compatable or not. idosubaru Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 pretty sure they are a good bit different. but you might be able to make it work. you'd have to swap the pulleys and possibly the clutch as well. and make sure the a/c fittings are compatible. then hopefully mounting it is workable.
