How do the swiches come apard on the dashboard of a '00 OBW? I read that the lower panel cover comes off then the switch should pop out. How does the switch come apart? Does it still use the Radio Shack mini bulb #7219?

Hi Ernie. I'm pretty sure on my '00obw, I just removed that coin holder thing in front of the fuse box by the left knee, and reached up in from behind and pushed out the switch. At least for switches on the left side that seems to work.

Porc, I think he is asking how to get

the switch body open to get to the lamps

once the switch is removed.

Those switches require a delicate touch to get the bulbs out. Here's a thread that will lead you to everything you'll need to know about the stupid little bulbs (faulty in mid 90's Legacies). There are links to to other sites that will eventually show you pictures:banana:
