1.8 is in it, now its time for a new engine. what will bolt up easy? or should i just mod another 1.8 and drop it in? i want a little more umph with some thunder comin outta the exhaust.:Flame:

I saw a article a while ago in a Suby magazine.....this guy took his like 93' impreza wagon ej18 almost bone stock and threw a turbo on it and a WRX intercooler..........just an idea....if you dont want a turbo....i would recommened a 2.2.....a little bit more power and they are very reliable......:)

i thought about it but i wanna know the time and effort put into it. harness issues.. you know

check nasioc, a lot of people do it

best bet is to get a whole complete wrx that is salvaged. You'll need everything (harness, ecu, dash?, pedals, reard diff, etc..) Should be able to get it done over a weekend. I believe the entire dash itself is a near perfect fit. Even if you did the mechanical end, a shop cold do the electrical stuff. I'm sure someone in WA specializes in this kind of thing.

Eastcoastswappers.com ...just to check it out I know its the wrong coast

EJ22 is the easiest drop in. Grab a good runner form the boneyard.

Or, for a bit more money and time, get an EJ25. If you go that route, have the headgaskets and other seals redone before installing it, or you may end up having to service it again soon.
