is anyone running on 205/75/15's on their Outbacks?

Featured Replies

i'm about to order tires tonight, and i was wondering if anyone is running that size on a Outback...

I just ran the two sizes through a tyre size calculator and it looks like the 75 is about .81" taller. Not much of a difference but it may give a fuller look in the wheel well.

What tire are you going to go with?? I am going to get the Goodyear Assurance Triple Treads on our OBW some time this year.

A 215/70/15 will give you a slightly larger tyre all around, side wall, width and over all height.

thanks tim

do you think the 215's are gonna rub on the struts using my stock wheels? check my pics

also the 75s wouldnt be too tall for the rear strut?

Sorry, I can't give you a firm answer on fitament as I still have the 205/70/15s on my OB. I was at one point considering the same thing as you. Hopefully some one who has acctually installed that size tyre will speak up. Later, tim

Just noticed a couple of threads in the "Off Road" forum with guys running the 215s on OBs. Might be worth a shot to jump over there and give them a shout. Tim
