Does anyone know EA82 head bolt part #'s

Featured Replies

I called my local subaru dealer to get some new head bolts for my RX:banghead: . He could not fing the bolts. He said if I got the part number he could get them. Any help would be great.

what? the dealer couldn't find them? there's a few online subaru dealers that probably have better pricing anyway and might do better for you. that's goofy they couldn't come up with the head bolts.

just to make sure for you and others that will read this in the future - you do know that these head bolts do not need to be replaced? all the subaru enthusiast and shops around reuse the bolts (like Subaru and the FSM suggests) without issue. they are not the kind of head bolt that needs replaced. google "torque to yield" if you're not familiar with the different kinds of head bolts.

Yes I understand that the bolt are not torque to yeild, but some of the bolts had pretty bad pitting and I would think that it would affect the strength of the bolt. Also I have looked at a buch of websites and now one list the head bolts. And a lot of the sites will show the part if you have the part number.

Here are both part numbers for the 2 different size bolts:

800211050 description is Bolt-11x130x34

800211060 description is Bolt-11x116x34

I just checked at 1stsubaruparts.com and they were selling for $2.04 a piece. Hope that helps:)

Richard

remember that the 3 bolts in the center of the head are shorter then the rest of the outer bolts
