I need some shocks

Featured Replies

looking for some opinions for some new shocks for ea81 hatch, best ones?

Any shocks that will increase ride height without a total lift kit?

keep in mind that shocks do not suppor the weight of the car, but rather controls the rate at which it bounces up and down

you can crank up the torsion bar by turning the nut on top of the suspension tube(4wd)

the easiest rout would be to look into using an ea82 rear coilover, but you wil lhave to fab the top mount

i was lookin in my haynes manual and saw the adjustable air shocks stock from subaru where can you find these?

for those you would need the subaru air setup, or at least the right piping for the air lines and a valve to fill them, release air.

but anyway, some gl-10's and xts had the air ride suspension.

Do they make KYB AGX's for EA81

Or any other adjustable shocks?

They make KYB's for Subes.

The air suspension is on the '85 and newer EA82 models. Mostly found on the GL10's and Turbo's.

You may want to just save some money for a while and buy the kit instead of spending alot of money to get little or no results.

This is simply my opinion.
