2006 impeza was clunking in 3rd gear and i steped on the gas to accelerate and it started making very very loud clunking in all gears now. does anyone know what this could be need to know asap.... car only has 35,000 miles......... driven very lightly nothing crazy

more particulars would be nice such as auto/manual,engine cc,and perhaps your driving style,how about maintenance?something goes clunk normally one doesn't speed up without screwing something up worse
