May 13, 200817 yr so i was taking a look at my 96 legacy today and i had it up on a lift and i started shaking the passanger front wheel to notice any movement....i noticed a little movement when i grasped the wheel at 6 and 12 oclock and gave her a shake....enough movement that you feel it but you cant really see it.....i also grasped the tire at 3 and 9 oclock and i had NO movement there....the ball joints are good and the tie rods are good.....i did take a look behind the wheel and i notice NO movement where the axle meets the hub when i give her a shake.......i notice no noise when coming from there while driving.......my question is how much movement is considered "normal"?.....i dont belive its my wheel bearings....because i dont hear anything........any help would be appreciated......

Just repeating what I've read here numerous times : put your hand on the strut/spring and if you feel vibrations when you spin the wheel, then the bearing is at least starting to go.
