iv'e done this several times and never had a problem until now. i'm putting a 2002 wrx 6 disc in my 96 legacy outback, when i plug it in i hear the cd player turning on but when i go to turn it on i get no joy. anybody have any ideas?

If the radio section works ok then you need to check the CD signal wires I would say.

nobody else has any ideas?
