June 1, 200817 yr If that 79 isnt rotted out then yea id say thats a decent deal. Engine needs three things to run, fuel, spark, and air. Sounds to me like its not getting one of the first two.

I'll never own a Loyale again due to the lack of the little creature comforts (map/cargo lights, dead pedal, auto-seatbelts, etc)... seems that by that point they were trying to strip down the Loyale body style to make it unappealing so they could push the newer Legacy series... pretty ballsy putting their entire inventory on craigslist and linking it from their web site... that's likely to get them flagged off... --Spiffy
June 1, 200817 yr The 79 looks nice. If it was automatic, I would consider it. My girlfriend wants a gen 1 or gen 2 4wd automatic wagon preferably with the plaid seats. I'm going to Maine next weekend too. Oh well.
June 2, 200817 yr Gen 1 4WDs did not come in automatics......only 4 speeds. The Gen 1 automatics were all FWD. Todd
