What is a fair price on a used and working SPFI system these days? Ballpark range. SPFI and fuel pump etc.

Depends. I got mine out of an "american" JY years ago... loaded all sorts of parts into a box and he charged me $150 for it all. After that Zeke just gave me a whole setup. So between free and $150? If loyales are plentiful and cheap in your area, look for a crappy one and get it for $100 or less for the parts.. that'd work

i got mine out of a pick and pull and it was about 150$ for everything.

 

although i rolled up to the counter and said " intake manifold, fuel pump, distributor" when the girl asked me what i had - i almost got through the transaction when the head cashier looked over her shoulder and was like "whoa buddy, you got a lot more than just an intake manifold there" , and proceeded to charge me for every vac line and fuel hose and sensor on the thing :-p . so maybe my price was a bit high.
