Outback Lift on my 91 LS Wagon

Featured Replies

Well I got my lift all installed and tested this last week. Pic

Here is a picture of it with outback rims and 205/70 15.

The ride is great, I did replace the original rear struts that were totally blown.

This was a pretty easy install, and I used my old springs. I was able to get everything back on even the front rear sway bars.

Yes I was time since my old rear struts had 185k on them!

I used my 91 springs and outback struts front and rear.

The swap was really easy, and I was even able to get the factory sway bars back in place.

Are the springs significantly larger for the Outback than for the Legacy? I just PM'd you about the springs and tophats you have for sale. I'm interested in the rear springs, as the rear of my 92 squats so low I get tire-strike on my admitedly oversized tires. I know my struts are worn, and I'm looking at getting new ones (GR2's), but if I could find a bigger spring for the back, that would make a lot of difference. . .
