September 28, 200817 yr Wow, it's been so long since i have been on i allmost forgot how this worked, Ok, 90 loyale, fuel pump continus to cycle with key in run position, Flooding the hell out of it, was un able to locate the diognostic plugs under the dash. It's got the 1800 TBI motor, My brother said she ran great for a few weeks then progeresivly got worse., What would cause the fuel pump to cycle and flood the motor? Trying to trade this guy off for a bike if i can get her fixed. Thanks in advance. ~Dayten~
September 28, 200817 yr In my 92 Loyale the diagnostic connector (the green one) is located under the hood. Near the fuel filter (driver side). This is the only one that will make the fuel pump cycle on and off. Make sure it is unplugged. Sam
September 28, 200817 yr Fuel pressure regulator ruptured. Pull the vacuum line, looking for gasoline. Fuel injector stuck wide open. My money on the FPR.

Sam Ok, found them, im used to them being under the dash, the diognostic plug (Green One) was plugged in, i am changing the throttle body now, hoping that does it. Im sure there is still another problem, like a stuck injector......... When i say it was flooding itself that was an understatement, it's drowning itself. I'll see what happens, i might be back on here asking more dumb questions, Thank you guys alot, your savin my rump roast! ~CHIM~

The good injector would put thrugh only so much fuel. You may have a bad O-ring or something. Sam
September 28, 200817 yr Make sure you change your oil and filter the minute the fuel problem is taken care of. I imagine it is very thinned out with gas and will ruin the bearings in short order if you don't. On the upside, the inside of your engine is very clean now.
October 21, 200916 yr It's kind of long in between posts, but i didn't know my little brother frequented this site. What's up Dayten? Chaz
