EJ Swap w/ EA81 A/c

Featured Replies

I have an 84 GL Wagon with good a/c and all and would like to keep it if at all possible with my EJ22 swap. What all would be needed to accomplish this? Sorry if this has been asked before but the search button isn't very nice to me.

I got rid of my working ac when I did my swap. I wish I hadn't, but I think the hard part will be finding fans that are small enough to fit in front of the ac radiator that are strong enough to keep things cool. You wont be able to use the ea81 fans because there isn't enough room between the radiator and the ej engine. I'm not sure about the wiring, but someone smarter than me could probably point you in the right direction. Good luck.

I kept my ej ac compressor and hope to rig up onboard air, just for the fun of it.

Let us know what you do.

Daniel
