I went browsing around the local auto parts store and found 3M Professional Fuel Injector Cleaner.

I gave it a shot and it truly works! My 2000 Forester seems like it has better pick up.

 

I picked up the product at Strauss Auto and it was around $7.00 for a 16 oz. bottle.

"Fuel Injector Cleaner" is largely bunk. Mostly what that stuff does is clean carbon deposits from valves - Techron is generally considered to be the top of the line for cleaners such as this.

I've used Techron and trust me the 3M stuff is BETTER.
