November 20, 200817 yr my car started running rough on the way to work this morning. it had very little power and sounded like it was running on only 2 cyl. i pulled the plugs and they were white in color. put new ones in and it runs good again. looks like it was running lean. what would cause this. the plugs i pulled out were not that old.
November 20, 200817 yr what brand of plugs did you use?? sometimes they just go bad could be deposit buildup, possibly from fuel additive
November 20, 200817 yr Author NGK plugs. as far as the fuel goes i did notice the local station has a sticker on the pump that says contains ethenol but i've been running that fuel in my other 90 legacy with no problems. Edited November 20, 200817 yr by pamike
November 21, 200817 yr all pump gas contains at the least a bit of ethanol..... and what about the injectors?
