Pep boys wants around $100 including tax for them but only special order What can I do? its nearly impossible to find parts locally

If that's for the pair, it's actually not a bad price, and remans are a good route to go. It would suck to get the seals, get it all apart, and find the bores are all rusted or pistons damaged, and you have to get the calipers also while the car now sits.

I'd suggest checking at partsamerica.com, they ship, and are usually a lot cheaper than Pep Boys.
