So i have an 88' GL SPFI 4wd wagon (automatic unfortunately) but i want to make it a mobbin machine, i took a look at the 4'' sjr lift and i want to do a nissan 6 lug swap. But before i do anything will my 1800 put out enough power to turn those wheels up a mountain? They are torque'y lil things.

You should really do a 5 spd d/r swap! The auto isn't gonna cut it for what you want to use it for....especially if you plan on using bigger tires!
