I have a factory fog light switch from a gl but i have a dl. It would fit nicely in the stock location. I was wondering if it was worth it to somehow wire up the factory foglight switch to the foglights i bought. If it would be a hastle wireing it then ill use the supplied one from the kit.

It will be a PITA to wire correctly, and route, better off using the kit - especially if the included switch is lighted -- so you don't forget they are on for oncoming traffic

 

new switch should fit nicely to the right of the headlight switch in the empty spot that is used for the panel dimmer on later models, unless the headlight switch is also the turnsignal lever......
