OK- so I'm swapping an EJ22 into a '97 Leg 2.5GT and my EJ22 came from the junkyard without a coil pack-- I thought I could just swap over the coil pack from the 2.5-- WRONG. It's bigger and the connectors are different. Looks like the wires going to the 3-pin connector on the engine side are the same, could I splice the connectors and use the coil, or do I need a coil from an EJ22?

What year is the EJ 22?

Both the EJ25 and the EJ22 are 1997.

You should be able to pull one from the You pull and pay yards in SLC. The one out west have half off on Wed!
