Wiper woes

Featured Replies

Ok searchrd for but didn't see this one, 90 legacy wipers now only work on high, no int, no low, no spray and wipe. Also if I turn them off in midstroke they stop wearever they be:-\. Thinking switch replacement time, but just wondering if is simpler than that:). Thank goodness for high:banana:, any ideas anybody?.............G

Not sure where it is on your year of car, but it sounds like the resistors or "logic" burned up and has defaulted to the high only setting, as this setting does not use a resistor. But wherever the logic is (motor, switch, separate resistor card assembly) is where I would start.

you can try blowing some compressed air in/around the switch...sometimes the contacts get dirty and cause this...but as you mentioned..My bet is the switch is burned out....
