March 15, 200917 yr Will the rear struts off a 2wd DLSW work for a 2" lifted GLSW with a DR? I blew another strut out today, and want to get a matching set.
March 15, 200917 yr Yes but No, Let me Explain: 2WD Models` Struts have the Base Plate for the Spring Coil, Welded Two inches Lower than the 4WD Models` Struts... So Yes: They will Fit Perfectly but No, You may not Use a 2WD Strut in one side while there is a 4WD Strut in the Other Side... I Suggest to Find the 4WD one, or Change `em Both with the 2WD ones... March 15, 200917 yr Author ok, because i have 2 struts from a DL that are replacements for the mixed set that is on the car
March 15, 200917 yr Yes, a Set of the Same Kind is Better than a Mixed Struts... You can Compare about the Base Plate when you take them out. Kind Regards.
