clean and reassemble, I was able reuse all components, except the seal, it got nerpled, bummer, good prices on ebay for rebuild parts

Is there anywhere that I can buy a complete rebuild kit or do I have to piece it together?

Keep an eye on ebay. About 6 months ago, I scored a complete rebuilt XT6 rack for $25 + shipping, which came to $45 after shipping.....

Try OEM (I use Jason in parts at Mike Scarf Subaru 866-528-5282). I bought two kits for our Impreza recently (one was seals and the other bellows if I remember correctly). Not quite as cheap as ebay, but I only had to wait a few days to get them.

seals and bellows should be all you need. this rack had 238k on it and all the weare surfaces were good, just a good clean up and regrease
