May 5, 200916 yr we done it again... This time not so high, and not so much to fix. Gotta figure out how to keep those tyres on the rims though. They were at 35psi and still getting pushed off. Slowly finding the next weakest link in this car and fixing it. Had fun anyway and came 3rd. Beat some pretty gnarly huge trucks with v8's and 36" + tyres so can't complain.. Go Subaru!
May 5, 200916 yr Beadlocks man, if they'll let you run them on that course, Im assuming that is not a street vehicle at all, so it should be ok? That seems like about the only solution, unless you superglue the ************ out of the beads with the best superglue money can buy -Bill
May 5, 200916 yr You could do some home made beadlocks, I seen that alot on superstock and other drag race cars here, just make sure everything gets balanced when youre done. Are you running those 14" Desert Rat wheels? If you went to say a 15" wheel I think theres more available, since its a pretty popular size in most motorsports. -Bill
May 5, 200916 yr Author No tyres small enough here in Australia with a decent construction and tread to fit one our non-lifted wagon. See, we're in s***-box class so the car has to be valued by a 3rd party as under $1500. Big wheels and tyres with lift would probably push us into open class and then we'd be up against
May 6, 200916 yr Awe, you can totally take on Open Class! just put a cage and some extra chassis supports in that beast so you can jump it higher and harder and get more points! -Bill
