May 14, 200916 yr My 86 Leone needs new mounts... I want to replace all of them. However, after doing some searching at the auto parts store they are an abysmal ~$400 for all of them! There's no way I'm spending that kind of money on engine mounts. Does anyone make custom ones on here that are solid steel or anything? I don't care if the car vibrates, I'm just sick of the engine and transmission thunking around.
May 14, 200916 yr Wow, I can't believe how expensive those are. The last mount I bought was for my F250 and it was only about $25 for a huge thing. You don't want solid mounts, as the flexing of the body will crack the bellhousing. What mount is bad, or are they all?
May 14, 200916 yr They are all worn out. Original parts with 219K on them. Last time I checked, I could get 2 motor mounts and the transmission mounts for about $140.00 U.S.D. ... Doug

Sam Hey, Make sure you click on the right VIN. Make sure you have the right DL, GL and so forth. Any questions, call. Works for me. Doug Edit: thepartsbindotcom has them. Good selection. Current listing on eBay for tranny mounts as well. FYI. Edited May 20, 200916 yr by Quidam add text
May 20, 200916 yr Author It's a car I paid $400 for... I'm not going to blow $400 on engine mounts... However, the big issue was the pitch stop bar. My buddy and I made a solid pitch stop for it and that solved a lot of it's issues.
