I have the stock AM/FM-CD radio along with the 6 CD changer from a '03 WRX installed in our '99 Forester. A nice setup but I miss my iPod. I'd like to install a DIN size aftermarket radio but need something to take up the big empty space that will create. Anybody have some thoughts or links for that?

You should be able to use a pocket or cubby from the first gen legacy or some other subaru.

ed, i have a couple of the 2DIN size "inserts" that houses the 1DIN stereo and the cubbyhole / maybe a cigarette lighter. similar to what josh is talking about, i can send you one if you'd like.
