Can anyone help on this

I would like to bid on a 6 disc changer on ebay but the guy does not know what car it fits (HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IT CAME OT OF)

Here are the numbers off the unit

6 disc changer

model 116240LS100

I want to use it in my 2001 legacy GT

Anyone have access to dealer info that would identify??

thanks

Post a link to the auction. I'll take a look.

Subaru has really only used a couple of different audio system harnesses. over the years. The only question is whether or not you'll have to modify your dash. Probably not.

If this is one of the stand-alone 6-disc changers, it will depend on what radio you have. Take a pic of your stereo and post it up here.

just make sure it isn't the under the seat 6 disc changer. those kind of suck. you probably want the in dash changer.

it almost has to fit. mid-90's stuff plugs and plays with even my 2002 H6 OBW with the McIntosh system which has an external amp, etc.

i've swapped a bunch of in dash 6 changer units into various legacy's and impreza's and i know they'd also fit in my 2002 OBW, so it's hard for me to imagine it not fitting. but i can understand you don't want to buy somethign that doesn't work either.
