June 3, 200916 yr Who wants to go camping? I want to. Lets set something up before the show. Maybe a wrenchfest, but I'm thinking more of a camping trip somewhere. What do you say? maybe 2 weekends from now?
June 5, 200916 yr When do you want to go? My gear is easy to pack. Just gotta find some spare parts to bring incase the Brat doesn't make it
June 8, 200916 yr I'd love to go, but the wagon continues to keep me off the highway. ! Alright what did you do to it????
June 8, 200916 yr Hows that brat running? Would be sweet, 3 brats out on a camping trip! Runs better than any EA81 i've ever seen TBH, but i'm in the process of obtaining the title, so not a good idea to drive it. Alright what did you do to it???? Nothin' but loved and enjoyed.. but yea. Hard to diagnose issue. Check out the thread and gimme your deux cents. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=96070 =/ Edited June 8, 200916 yr by Greenley
June 9, 200916 yr Runs better than any EA81 i've ever seen TBH, but i'm in the process of obtaining the title, so not a good idea to drive it. Just have Jibs follow you nice and closely
June 9, 200916 yr I saw the thread. Im not sure man. I have to test the EA81 in my Brat before I attempt to drive it to the WCSS. You going to have the title for the brat in time for the show?
June 9, 200916 yr I really hope it doesn't take that long, but who knows. I'm dealing with small town district court here
June 9, 200916 yr Need a title to register here in the Silver State. On topic: Count me in for whatever camping trip you have in mind, JB. I'll find a way to make it. Or i can host a fix-my-wagon-fest, but i'd rather get out in the trees.
June 9, 200916 yr Author Yeah at this point, I might have to take the scout. I was thinking of going somewhere down by you greenley, maybe south of gardnerville, then Brian wouldn't have too far to go. But any suggestions are helpful too, I just want to camp.
June 10, 200916 yr I haven't truly been camping since i was in WA, so i have the itch. Anyplace where you don't need a permit to piss is fine with me. What's up with the lifted brat Jibs? Sheez, just take WOMBRAT
June 10, 200916 yr On the weekend of the 20th I'm going camping with a few friends of mine at Snag Lake in the Lassen National Forest. Map here You all are invited if you would like to go. Let me know.
June 10, 200916 yr How are the fire regulations in Nev. vs. California? A campfire is a HUGE bonus, and camping without one sucks.
June 10, 200916 yr ^ ditto. Here's what i pulled from the BLM site: Do not build a fire, campfire, or stove fire (including NO charcoal fires) outside of a developed fee campground or picnic area except by permit (during periods of official fire restrictions, though this is good advice throughout the year); portable stoves using gas or pressurized liquid fuel are ok, but use them only in a cleared area and take great care when you light them; Pretty vague.
June 10, 200916 yr except by permit (during periods of official fire restrictions, though this is good advice throughout the year)
June 12, 200916 yr Author I was always under the impression that onn ANY BLM property you are able to have campfires and that only on NFS (Forest service) land are you required to have a permit for a fire.
June 13, 200916 yr Can you find out more about that JB? Isnt the 20th & 21st fathers day weekend? Lets try for the weekend after that.
June 16, 200916 yr Isnt the 20th & 21st fathers day weekend? Lets try for the weekend after that. So the 27/28 of June. Is that a plan then?
