What do you all do to repair surface rust starting to form on the windshield frame? Seems thats the only spot I ever see rust on. Could probably grind at it some with a dremel.

The gasket is retaining water and it's rotting from the inside. You will have to remove the windsheild, correct the cancer, and then install the windsheild with a new gasket and proper sealant.
