My '92 3AT 4WD Loyale won't shift to third. Replaced modulator and checked governor. Governor's 12 steel teeth were all cored. Went to local Pull-A-Part, found two very good governors. Lady at check-out asks what they are and what they do. Told her but still she consults with a dude at a cubicle. Three minutes later, she charges me $7.00 for both. Receipt states "Speedo Gear". There's a lot more examples I can cite where this group has helped me a lot. It's about time I say my sincerest thanks to all of you for your invaluable help throughout the years.

If the "new" one's core like that in a short time then the drive gear inside the transmission is shot. It's better to just get a used transmission if that happens.
