Tires?

Featured Replies

I am about to get some new tires for my subi and was wondering if any one had any good suggestions for a good off roading tire that will fit on stock sub rims my budget is about 45 a tire. My car is a '82 gl wagon dr 4x4; also planning on doing a 2 or 3'' lift. Thanks

I think the biggest size you can get on a stock suby rim is 185-80-13. If you went pug or chevy wheel you can get into other rhelms. I dont advise getting douglas tires. I know Falkin and Goodyear make good 13inch tires still. Give them a look.

Screw the lift, with your type of budget.

Remember, a body lift doesn't actually give you any advantages.

It only allows for larger diameter tires to fit in the wheel wells,

and it will ,of course, look absolutely awesome.

A lift with stock size tires won't net you any additional

ground clearance or overall offroad-ability.

I've got 205/75/14 tires on an unlifted EA81, with only minimal cutting.

Go that route, and save your money for other goodies. :)

I would like to get some 14 inch wheels but dont know who makes 14s that fit the sub lug pattern. any ideas?

See where it says search, at the top of the page, third link from the right.

Give it a click. Then advanced search.

Highlight the forum of your choice (Older Generation, Offroad, etc.)

In the Keyword field, try the terms:

Peugeot

Wheels
