August 4, 200916 yr I replaced the head gaskets this past week on my 93' 2.2 legacy with much success (so i thought). I went to start it up and found that it was struggling to turn over. I ended up checking the plugs and found that the passenger side plugs were soaked in oil??? Is it the piston rings... if it is then why wasn't it blowing smoke before I did the head gasket change? What could it be?
August 5, 200916 yr It's either that or piston/rings. Either wouldn't really keep the car from starting. You sure you got the timing belt on correctly? People often misalign the mark on the crank.
