Replaced head Gaskets and now spark plugs covered in oil??

Featured Replies

I replaced the head gaskets this past week on my 93' 2.2 legacy with much success (so i thought). I went to start it up and found that it was struggling to turn over. I ended up checking the plugs and found that the passenger side plugs were soaked in oil??? Is it the piston rings... if it is then why wasn't it blowing smoke before I did the head gasket change? What could it be?

No, the engine did not start. You think it might be the valve guides?
