When I was replacing my 2.5 block and had it out of the car...I thought I would save the crank sensr. No matter what I did (even hitting it with a drift) I could not get it to budge.

Any tricks for future reference?

Soak it with PB blaster or equivalent for at least 2 hours before you try to remove it.

Some times that cranks sensor simply won't come out - it crushes.

 

Gets all corroded in there.

 

Soak well as prescribed.
