The bearings on my Brat are getting very loud, and since I just moved to the Portland area, I'm not sure where to go to get some around here. I'd like the sealed kind so there's less for someone to eff up when installing. Also, I hear that there's no reason to go to a car parts store for them. I live in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area, but I work downtown. Any suggestions?

I'm assuming you are talking about the front wheel bearings as the rear are a timken roller bearing assembly - I haven't sourced those in a long while.

 

For the front just head over to McGuire bearing - you want 6207-2RS-C3's. They are about $10 each.
