So how much is it for the part it's self and if I were to get it done at a shop what would be the price range
I think I can do it myself but let me know how it's gone for you if you have been here.

On eBay now. You can find those plenty cheap enough.

 

As I recall , you want some heat along to assist getting the old one out , like a propane torch. You can do it.

I have a ujiont adaptor for my air chisel works like hot dam rappp and out takes seconds tor remove
