GLCraig
Here's a good place to start http://usmb.net/repair/?CurrentDirectory=FOLDER_3f29b58f4430b8.49200047/&FileType=Article&File=ARTICLE_3f2c055f4862e9.39782181.art
Silent Bob
Subaru has thoughtfully made this easy. Remove the trim panel under the dash on the drivers side and locate the engine control module. There willl be an LED on one end of it. Turn the ignition key to the "on" position, the LED will start blinking the codes it has stored. Consult your haynes or other manual to figure out what all the blinking actually means. (at least that's how it works on my 91)
Natrboy
Hey there ryan. I just bought a 93 loyale. I am by no means a car expert. But all the research I have done before buying this car says that this is a common occurance with this year and model. I have read that people get the CEL light and take it to the dealer and nothing is wrong. That doesn't mean not to check the ECM for any codes. My loyale is giving me the same light, but it isn't on all the time. Not that, that means anything.
