xyzb Posted September 23, 2016 Author Share Posted September 23, 2016 Here's where I'm at with this. Changed fluid twice with the filter being changed on the second round. Shifts great(even reverse) except going from 3rd to 4th. If you rev it, it will shift sometimes. If it slips, all will slip until going to neutral then back to drive. Not sure if I should wave the white flag or if there are any other ideas. I'massuming TransX will not do anything for it.Did throw a code for Gear 3 incorrect ratio.Comments? Thanks! 1 Lucky Texan Posted September 23, 2016 Share Posted September 23, 2016 seems like it has gotten better? if you think it has, perhaps give it some more time or swap out another drain and fill with the trans-x. you'll still be in for much less than a trans swap.
