Ladies and gentlemen.

I've been running my winter tire and steel wheel setup, which has no valve stem TPMS transmitters. So why do I not have the TPMS light on the dash lit up to tell me I have an issue?

Every subie I've previously owned, that had a TPMS system, would light up all winter long, until I reinstalled my factory summer tires and wheels in the spring.

Has Subaru changed the system on this 2017 OBW Premier with Eyesight and the Tech Package?

If the lights not on don't complain! Those things are nothing but an annoyance anyway. If the light comes on its because the tires were already about 7psi low and have been low on pressure for a LONG time before the light ever came on. Damage to the environment and your wallet already done at that point.
