The other day i was at the hardware store, and they had a tube of "aluminum polish" on sale, so i picked it up. WagonsOnly Posted October 4, 2003 Share Posted October 4, 2003 Use a very fine body/paintwork rubbing compound. If they're really scratched/oiled, start with a coarser grit. heartless Posted October 6, 2003 Share Posted October 6, 2003 I have used them to clean alloy wheels too, they are great for the initial cleaning, then follow up with a good polish to really make 'em shine. and if you want to keep that shine for a while, use some sort of sealer after polishing. good luck.
