Hey I have this Specialty tool and when I did a part number look-up on it, subaruparts.com only says it's an aligner; another reference I got elsewhere is that it's a cylinder head aligner for 1400 & 1600.
So what is it really and do any of you actually need one?

I believe there are a couple of those in the tools I got a while back. No, I still haven't gotten to them. I will one day though.

Head alignment tool for holding the head inplace while you get the bolts started, etc.
If it were like $5 I'd get it.
It's a nice item to copy as well.
I completely understand....but please, don't toss out even the simplest looking seal installer,etc....please.When the time comes I'll be sure to scan/copy any pages you need from all my old manuals to determine each tool as best as possible.
