xvega
Okay I made a big mistake of overtorquing(sp) my head bolts. I now have the correct specs. The car has not been started do I need to replace the bolts and headgasket. They were torqued to 70lbs. Thanks for any help!!
tcspeer
I would think you need to replace the gaskets is you loosen the bolts from a higer torque valve. But someone else may disagree. nipper
You need to replace the gaskets. You have substantially over torqued the gaskets and damaged them. The bots will be fine, but the HG are scrap. nipper
