REXSPEEDWORTHY
Thanks to Subaru3 for hooking me up with the new radiator. It's now ready to put in, after I had to rig up some trans lines receivers. QUESTION?? Should I prime the radiator through the ATF lines before I hook back up? idosubaru
no, not for just a radiator/hose replacement. there's plenty of lubrication in the system and it primes up immediately.
Caboobaroo
Just as Gary said, no prelube needed for it. There's enough in the lines already to take care of it but after you've ran it for a few minutes, driven it a bit, stop and check the ATF and top it off if needed. SUBARU3
Wow...that was fast! Love the cool color. Agreed, no primimg needed. The trans is not a pressure system, so the fluid will just flow into the cooler. Todd
REXSPEEDWORTHY
got it in and fired her up tonite Thanks again Todd, it looks great. Maybe one day I'll get the whole car done. No run no drips no errors. I had to buy brass pite fittings 1/8 in. I also had to buy a corner peice to keep the botton line away from the pully (which is in the wrong place:lol:)
